I am an Assistant Professor of Management at University College Dublin (UCD). Prior to joining UCD, I was an Assistant Professor at Prague University of Economics and Business. I obtained my Ph.D. in Management from Politecnico di Torino in 2020. In 2018 I was a visiting Ph.D. student at MIT Sloan under the supervision of Fiona Murray.

I was also a Co-founder & CFO of an Italian Innovative Startup with a social aim (in Italian: Startup Innovativa a Vocazione Sociale – SIaVS) named DIVHI for mental diversity, equity, and inclusion.

I am doing research (qualitative and quantitative) on Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation. Have a look at all my publications on my Research page. So far I have published 10 papers and one of my best publication is the following one:
Sansone, G., Andreotti, P., Colombelli, A., & Landoni, P. (2020). Are social incubators different from other incubators? Evidence from Italy. Technological Forecasting and Social Change, 158, 120132. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.techfore.2020.120132. This paper was also cited by a recent OECD paper titled “Building local ecosystems for social innovation”.

teach Innovation and Entrepreneurship at different education levels (from bachelor to graduate students) and fields of study. During my teaching activities, I do my best to combine the three university missions and to highlight the importance of social and environmental aspects in addition to economic aspects. Moreover, I supported startups and entrepreneurial teams for several organizations such as Social Innovation Monitor and Incubator Primo Miglio (link).

In addition, I am doing other several activities such as project works regarding Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (e.g., link), supervising bachelor and master’s students (e.g., link), and reviewing several international journals such as the Academy of Management Learning & Education.
